Website design & development

Beautiful to look at.
Built to be found.

I design websites that catch the eye and make the next step clear — then build the structure and content that help customers, search engines, and AI assistants understand your business.

What I care about

Three things a website
has to get right.

Beauty

Distinctive typography, deliberate layouts, and purposeful motion. A site that feels like your business and is easy to use on a phone.

Structure

Clear pages, useful navigation, working links, and an accessible technical foundation. The information people need is easy to reach and read.

Content

Words that answer what a customer is actually asking — services, areas, experience, and proof — written in your voice and organized around their next step.

Search and AI discovery

Can people
find and understand you?

Whether someone searches Google or asks an AI assistant for help, your business needs useful pages that can be found and read.

I build around clear information, real customer questions, and the technical foundations that support discovery.

  1. Clear business information

Who you are, what you do, and where you serve — readable on the page, with structured business data that matches.

  2. A page for each real customer question

Useful service pages, meaningful area information, and an honest About page, connected through clear navigation.

  3. Consistent local listings

A Google Business Profile and directory details that agree with your website, including contact information, hours, and service areas.

  4. A sound technical foundation

Fast, mobile-friendly pages, working links, descriptive titles, and important content that search engines can access.

Start with a site review

A good-looking site
can still need work underneath.

For a Houston-area remodeling company, I reviewed the website for search visibility and delivered a recommendations report.

The review looked beyond appearance: technical issues, missing business information, service-area content, and the order in which to tackle the work.

Delivered: a review and improvement plan. Ranking, traffic, and lead gains were not measured.

From findings to a plan

Fix the foundation.
Then build on it.

Find

Technical issues, content gaps, and unclear business information.

Prioritize

Foundation fixes, useful service and area pages, then ongoing upkeep.

Deliver

A clear recommendations report to guide the next piece of work.

Ways to work together

A new website.
Or a better version of what you have.

A full rebuild isn’t always the right answer. Sometimes the useful work is fixing the foundation, improving a few pages, and answering the questions your customers already have.

Review

Website & visibility review

Review the site, its search presence, and the customer journey. Get a prioritized plan that is useful whoever does the work.

Improve

Foundation & service pages

Fix what is broken, clarify your business information, and add useful service and area pages around the work you actually do.

Build

A new website

Designed around your brand and your customers’ questions, with working previews and a clear path from first visit to getting in touch.

Maintain

Ongoing website care

Keep pages, contact details, and service information current. Agree a defined update and review routine as your business changes.

How it works

See it. Try it.
Then launch it.

Your live site stays untouched until you approve the change. You review a separate preview first, and the previous version is backed up before launch.

  1. Understand the job the site has to do

Your customers, your services, your brand, and the questions that should lead someone to you.

  2. Design in a working preview

Real pages you can click through on your phone and computer. You review the flow, leave notes, and we refine it together.

  3. Check it, then launch

Check pages, forms, links, and mobile layouts. Publish after your approval, with a backup and a plan to restore the previous version.

  4. You own it

Hosting, domain, and tools in your name. Agree who updates what, and how future changes will be handled.

A few things you
may be wondering.

Do I need a new website, or can mine be fixed?

Usually fixed. If the bones are sound, cleaning up the foundation and adding the right pages can get much of the result without the cost of a full rebuild. A review tells us which — and I’ll say so plainly.

What does “built so AI agents can find you” actually mean?

When AI assistants search the web, they need pages they can access and understand. Clear structure, useful service and area pages, accurate business information, and consistent listings help make your business understandable. Business schema is structured information in the page code that describes your business. These are sound search foundations, not a guarantee of an AI recommendation.

How long until I see results?

A focused website project typically takes about four weeks once scope, access, and content are ready. Search visibility takes longer: changes can take weeks or months to show an effect. We track what changes rather than promise a ranking by a fixed date.

Will you touch my live site while working?

No. The work happens on a separate preview copy. You review, approve, and only then does it go live — with a backup of the previous version and a rollback plan.
